So for all of you who are unfamiliar with this dilemma, PoC and LGBT*Q+/gsm bloggers have been getting harassed for a long time. When these people reported the harrasment to Tumblr Suppirt, Tumblr support said that it was covered under freedom of speech. However, when these bloggers decided to justly lash back, they fell under fire and were deleted or warned by Tumblr support.
Due to the David Karp incident that has been flying around this week, as well as Tumblr supports shitty handling of security and protection for its’ PoC and LGBT*Q/gsm bloggers, many have decided to move to other blogging systems like Soup.io and Posterious. I respect that and wish them the best in their endeavors.

David, you seem to forget who we are. So let me remind you.
We—the users of this website, the people who you see fit to trample over every day—feed your pay check.
WEare the ones who got this Tumblr business off of the ground. Not you. Without us, the users, Tumblr would be an empty, failed site. It is because ofUSthat you have thrived.
WEare your supporters.
WEare yourinvestors.
WEare the gears that keep your machine running.
WEare the beams that hold your fucking website up.
And we are here and lift this site (and by proxy, you) bychoice, not because we have to be.
And WE can let it fall just as quickly.
