I woke up this morning and found out that this book exists.

I don’t even have words to describe how appallingly chagrined I am right now.

All i can say is…when Twilight was in its first throes of moviedom, I found out my then 12 year old little sister was “into it”. I have never read those books. Rather, i decided to ask my little sister what it was about/give a review. I figured it was better to get the gist from someone whose target audience it was, rather than reading it myself through a filter of a lifetime of experience and literary criticism.

I’m sure you can imagine.

To allow for my sweet bbgirl reading a fucking garbage ass book in which people who look like her are referred to as “coals”, and pollute her mind with entertaining the notion that she is somehow oppressing her little white friends who run around pretending to shoot her and calling her “illegal alien”, and about a million other horrible situations I can’t even go into right now or I’m gonna become more upset than I can take right now.
