adoptacause: Pregnant Woman Tazered She was eight months pregnant, and parking in a handicapped parking spot. Allegedly, to calm a screaming child. When she was ticketed by two officers they made racial remarks, scaring her, to the point she entered the vehicle again in fear. She was then tazered through the window, despite showing no indications of violent or threatening behaviour, and being visibly pregnant. She may have birth complications or a premature birth due to the stress from the arrest, the charges, and the medical injuries her boyfriend sustained while trying to protect her. This story is unacceptable: there must be an inquiry into these officer’s actions.
