March Of Tigers Events: Reflect and Remember

  1. Reflect & Remember: Let’s reminisce for those who lost their lives simply for being who they were. For not being afraid to show their love for their partners, for not being afraid to embrace themselves, for not being afraid to say “This is me.” This is who I am.

Let’s reminisce for those soldiers who have been dishonorably discharged: not for killing other soldiers but instead for loving them. Let’s reminisce for those who were bullied past their breaking point. Let’s reminisce for the many more painted in menacing silhouettes out of the ill will of a blind eye. This is for them

My brothers gave me a great idea to let this event have it’s own Day of Silence. If you’d like to do that, that would be very humbling.  However, you can mourn the deaths and silence of LGBTQ+/ QUILTBAG people any way you want to, whether it be by wearing black or wearing every color of the rainbow. You can light candles and have a vigil or you can speak up against oppresion. It’s all up to you, to be honest.

Thank you for listening.
